Gary Muldoon

Gary Muldoon’s areas of law include trial and appeals. He has argued more than 200 appeals in state and federal courts, including several before the state’s highest court, the New York Court of Appeals.

He has been admitted to practice in New York for more than 40 years and has spent the past 30 years in private practice. He has been an attorney for children in many trials and appeals, and has represented parents as well. He is admitted to all federal courts in New York.

Among his other activities are teaching and writing. For the past 20 years, Muldoon has been teaching, most recently at University at Buffalo Law School, with courses on Trial Technique, Advanced Legal Writing, and Family Law, among others.

His books include Handling a Family Law Case in New York, Handling Criminal Law in New York, The Education of a Lawyer, Criminal Law Slanguage of New York, and Family Law Slanguage of New York.

Muldoon is also a frequent speaker at seminars for lawyers, and over the years has served on many bar association committees.

He is a graduate of Skidmore College and Buffalo Law School.
